1. Count your crew.

The number of passengers in your group definitely impacts which van you will want to rent. A minivan rental can fit up to 8 passengers, whereas our passenger vans can accommodate 12 or even 15 passengers (depending on which model you choose). So before you do anything else, make sure you have enough seats for everyone.

2. Set your budget.

Before you look at rentals, make sure you have a rental budget in mind. That bottom line can help you determine which vehicle to rent, based solely on rental rates.

3. Consider your luggage.

Are you and your family members heavy packers? Then you’ll want to make sure that in addition to seating that you’ll also have enough storage space for all that luggage or beach equipment you plan to bring to Maui. A minivan has a moderate amount of storage, but if you like to bring a lot of bags, you may want a more spacious passenger van.

4. Determine your comfort level.
