Take Your Kihei Car Rental to Whalers Village Museum

People from all over the world flock to Hawaii every year to enjoy the state’s uncompromised beauty. A favorite vacation activity for many travelers is whale watching. Whales have been an integral part of the island’s identity for decades, and a visit to Whalers Village Museum in Lahaina with your Kihei car rental is an ideal way to become immersed in Maui’s whaling past and modern marine-conservation efforts.

Location

Whalers Village Museum is located at 2435 Ka`anapali Parkway in beautiful Lahaina, HI. This scenic drive to the museum will be a breeze in your Kihei car rental from Allsave Car Rental Maui.

Maui Loves Whales

Although widely considered an inhumane and outdated practice by today’s standards, whaling is a very important part of Hawaii’s history – especially in the former whaling town of Lahaina. Whalers Village, located on the world-famous Ka`anapali Beach, is now home to some of Maui’s best shopping, fine dining, and Whalers Village Museum.

The museum is dedicated to providing an opportunity to learn about the state’s whaling history for Hawaiians and visitors alike. With one of the world’s largest scrimshaw (carvings on whale teeth) collections and specimens of the 45-ton behemoths, Whalers Village Museum really is a must-see for any whale lovers in your family.
