Visit Haleakala National Park in Your Maui Car Rental

For a truly unique experience on your vacation to Maui, be sure to drop by Haleakala National Park in your Maui car rental. This region of Maui has been attracting people for hundreds of years; now it’s your turn to learn why!

Location

You can find Haleakala National Park’s headquarters south of Kahului, along Route 37. While driving down Route 37, hop onto Route 377 followed by 378, and the visitor’s center can be found on Route 378.

In Hawaii, driving your Maui car rental from Allsave Car Rental to your destination is half the fun. Don’t be distressed by a lengthy drive; just enjoy the island’s laid-back lifestyle, and soak in the incomparably gorgeous scenery that can’t be seen anywhere else on Earth.

Activities

Here’s a sample of some of the awesome activities you’ll encounter when you visit Haleakala National Park in one of Allsave Car Rental’s exquisite rental cars.

Hiking: Short hikes or all-day journeys into the Maui wilderness can easily be enjoyed at this gorgeous park. Be sure to pack the necessary supplies before setting out, though. Just because the island is gorgeous doesn’t mean it always plays nicely.

Camping: Drive-up campsites and sites that require a little legwork are both available at Haleakala. A drive-up campsite is the perfect option for anyone traveling with a Maui car rental. Don’t forget to look up at the awe-inspiring light show created by the stars in the vast night sky above Haleakala National Park.

Kipahulu: Just 12 miles past the majestic town of Hana, you’ll find the Kipahulu District of Haleakala National Park. This beautiful coastal region has been home to native peoples for hundreds of years and provides great insight into the lives of Hawaii’s natives and the close bond they share with their land.

Hours

Haleakala National Park is open year round, 7 days a week, except for closures due to extreme weather conditions.

Visitors to the park are required to purchase a recreational-use pass. Passes grant access to the park for up to three days and are non-transferable.
