If you love visiting National Parks, take a drive down Haleakala Highway into the Haleakala National Park to see the magnificent volcano crater. Along the highway there are plenty of stops so you can fully experience the island like the Nakalele blowhole or the Olivine Pools. Turn around once you hit the town of Kahakuloa, and on your way back, stop to hike the trails. Consider an open-air rugged Jeep rental for your drive. The views are that much more stunning with the wind blowing through your hair, and the Jeep provides high clearance on some of the roads.
